New Centre Fenix

The new building of our center, which will stand in Brno Kníničky, will provide quality facilities to existing services. Above all, the new centre allows increasing the number of clients to four times. Fifty clients a day will use outpatient services, and 20 other people will be able to spend longer-term intensive rehabilitation stays in the center.

These are no abstract plans. The project has the support of the Brno City Council, and since spring 2018, we already have architectural study. We have also processed the documentation for the application for a building permit. However, there is no money to complete.

We have already managed to raise 85 million Czech crowns. Approximately 95 million Czech crowns are still missing to fund of the construction fully. Our work is unique and needful. We are experts in our places, at the same time, heartbreakers with a passion for the cause. Spinal cord injury affects each of us.

Basic location data

The area designated for the construction of the ParaCENTER Fenix situates west of the foot of the Mniší Mountain. With a Zoo on the border of the cadastral of the municipalities of Bystrc and Kníničky. It is at the outskirts of Kníničky village and is linked to the north by Rekreační Street and the east by the road Ondrová, which connects Kníničky with Bystrc, Komín and other parts of Brno. On the west side, the land ends with the family home area. South is the field and bio corridor of the River Svratka. It is a territory owned by the Statutory City of Brno, on which the construction is being planned for the Zoo entrance area, kindergarten, nursing home, and new ParaCENTER Fenix building.
